My Kind of Style

When it comes to the latest trends, I can be a hard sell.  I even recall once making an over dramatic declaration that I would never be caught dead in skinny jeans. 

I just bought my 9th pair yesterday. 

So, instead of immediately writing-off any new trend that doesn't initially appeal to my everyday look, I now force myself to patiently wait for the right style to cross my path.

Chicago Recap

Hi!  Remember me?  The sucky blogger that has completely neglected her blog these past couple of weeks months?

Well, I'm not going to make up for my lack of blogging very much with this super quick recap of my Chicago trip, but I promise to fill you guys in on the "why" as soon as I get back from my current work trip in San Francisco.  So, bear with me for a little while longer.  :)

Tory Burch store!  It was closed by the time I made it though.  (Probably for the best.  That sales tax on clothing items is a killer!)

White Sox game which will also be known as the place I paid $7 for a hot chocolate.

And, of course, DEEP DISH.  I wish I could say that we finished it, but I barely made it halfway through my second slice.

Helloooo Chicago!

In the very near future, I will be packing my bags and making my way to Chicago for the very first time.  And, I couldn't be more excited about it!

So, to any Chicagoans out there, if you have any suggestions at all, I would be super grateful. :D  I foresee most of my free time revolving around food and shopping, but I haven't even began to figure out where anything is.  Turns out, Chicago is kind of a big city.

Green Days

So, is it pretty obvious that I've really been in the mood to shop lately?  I don't know if it's the spring cleaning or my tax return or what.  But, even just seeing actual green grass and living leaves on trees puts the idea in my head that I should have something to match.  Hence, my new obsession with green .

Giving the Maxi Dress Another Go

When making decisions, some people might say that tend to get it 'backwards' at times. 

I could chose a car, a college, or a career at the drop of a hat.  But, if you want me to pick out a Mother's Day card or a new brand of dry shampoo, then I'm going to need a few months to make a proper decision.  

Unless of course, I'm trying to find the perfect maxi dress.  In which case, get ready to wait a year, because I still can't decide.
